Deradikalisierungsarbeit im Phänomenbereich des Islamismus - Anforderungen an ein Beratungsinstrument

Abstract

In recent years, numerous radicalization consulting centers have been established across Germany with the ambition to prevent Islamistic radicalization and promote deradicalization. Yet, a tool for a structured professional judgment across those centers is missing. To develop such a tool, semi-structured interviews were conducted with employees across radicalization consulting centers. Interview transcripts were analyzed with MAXQDA software. The most frequently mentioned codes across all interviews were “other evaluation instruments” (N = 29), “implementation” (N = 19), “complexity” (N = 17) and “integration of instruments” (N = 14). Results indicate the need for an instrument that can be integrated into existing structures and used parallel to already existing instruments.
