N2 - Subcutaneous emphysema is characterized by the presence of air or other gases in the subcutis after a spontaenous or traumatic interruption in a air-carrying structure. We describe a patient who developed unilateral facial swelling after dental treatment. Considering the history, differential diagnostic possibilities and the physical examination, we diagnosed cervicofacial emphysema.
