Abstract
In a preceding study Indocyanine Green (ICG) angiography had been tested in reconstructive surgery for detecting early stage flap malperfusion. Despite promising results, several limitations of this method had to be overcome. Therefore different techniques have been evaluated, including semi-quantitative fluorescence measurements, combining of fluorescence and quasi-whitelight measurements and deconvolution of flap perfusion resistance.
