Cannabissucht und ihre Folgen

Abstract

Regular cannabis use, which begins in adolescence, is associated with an increased risk of mental illness, cognitive impairment and limitations in educational success. In the German addiction aid, cannabis users constitute the second largest group after contact causes due to alcohol abuse. Treatment successes for cannabis dependence are moderate. A quarter of the therapy participants remain abstinent in the medium term.
