The supraclavicular (island) flap, which has almost been buried in oblivion, provides excellent potential to reconstruct even bigger defects of the head and neck region, while causing minimal donor site morbidity at the same time. Its benefits lie in the reliable skin island and its wide arc of rotation, resulting in excellent cosmetic and functional outcomes.
