Abstract

Transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) has been shown to effectively modulate cortical excitability. Several studies have suggested clinical efficacy in pain syndromes such as central neuropathic pain or fibromyalgia. However, little is known regarding tDCS effects on nociception in healthy volunteers.
